Karen is an Advanced Sports Therapist & Owner/Manager of The Valley Health Club in the Hope Valley area of the Peak District. She provides sports massage; sports injury treatments and back and neck care.

Karen initially trained as a sports massage therapist in 2002. She has treated a range of clients, from outdoor enthusiasts to elite athletes. She now works as an Advanced Sports Therapist, specialising in sports massage, injury treatment & rehabilitation.

Among her many sporting achievements, Karen was a member of the Junior & Senior GB Orienteering Squad & Team 1987 – 1998, Yorkshire & England representative in fell running 2003 and 4th in British Fell Running Championships 2003.

Karen still competes at a high level in the English & British Championship fell running series & also the longer Lakeland races, mountain marathons & ultra distance events.
