Andy has been involved in working with groups through outdoor activities since 1992, and enjoys teaching outdoor skills to people no matter what their age, ability or background.

He has been interested in outdoor activities from a very early age and is a qualified walking guide with many years experience of outdoor pursuits including walking, back packing, climbing, skiing, orienteering and fell running.

Andy particularly enjoys working with small groups were the benefit to each individual in the group is maximized yet at the same time the impact on the environment is minimized.
Andy lives in the secluded Edale Valley and knows the area intimately.

He has been a member of the busy and often very demanding Edale Mountain Rescue Team for 5 years.
