Q: Can we tailor a package to suit our needs?
A: Yes, all packages are bespoke although we do guide clients towards the practicalities of activity duration to suit their meeting room requirements.
Q: Do delegates need to be fit to take part in High Peak Challenges activities?
A: High Peak Challenges will recommend activities appropriate for delegates and all levels of fitness can be catered for. Delegates will be expected to complete a basic health questionnaire during the booking stage.
Q:
How many delegates can take part?
A: High Peak Challenges specialises in the hospitality of up to 8 delegates on any one package allowing us to maintain an exceptional level of customer care. Under special circumstances we can cater for larger groups.

How do we book?
A: After deciding your length of stay, activity and meeting preference bookings are simply arranged by email or phone and confirmed in writing.
Q:
Is there a booking fee and cancellation policy?
A:
High Peak Challenges require at least 6 weeks notice to guarantee a booking. The total amount must be cleared no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.
High Peak Challenges will refund all fees if a minimum of 4 weeks notice of cancellation is given before the event.
Q:
Is the accommodation fully inclusive?
A:
All accommodation is of the highest standard and fully inclusive except alcoholic drinks. Hotel accommodation includes rooms, meals, meeting rooms and any leisure facilities. Refreshments can be arranged to suit requirements.
High Peak Challenges regrets that delegates are not permitted to bring family as part of the package.
Q:
Are check-in times flexible?
A: Clients can choose to arrange check-in for any time of the day to suit their requirements whether an evening or morning arrival is preferential.

What equipment do delegates need to bring?
A:
A clothing list will be provided with the booking confirmation however delegates will be expected to bring the following, depending upon chosen activities:
Clothing
- Walking: Complete cover waterproofs, comfortable walking boots, cold weather/ windproof jacket, hat and gloves, small back pack.
- Running: Fell/ trial or running shoes, running shorts or pants, windproof/ waterproof jacket, hat and gloves
- Cycling: Trainers, cycling shorts or pants, Windproof/ waterproof jacket, hat and gloves.
Some essential outdoor wear is available. However, please enquire prior to the event.
High Peak Challenges and their associate partners will provide specialist equipment including:
Maps, compass, cycles, cycling hat and climbing equipment.
Q:
How will the weather affect the activities?
A:
Outdoor activities are always dictated, to an extent, by the weather and the prevailing conditions. As a result, this may affect course content. Limited wet weather activities are available including visits to caverns, indoor climbing and the spectacular houses and collections at Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall (subject to opening time restriction).
